There are eight different types of volleys that you can send: video, audio, text, image, screen recording, video uploads, GIFS, and files.
Video is the hero of Volley and is the most popular volley type. To send a video volley, simply tap the camera button at the bottom of the timeline, and it will launch the recording view (desktop users can also use the shortcut "V").
Tap the record button to start your recording.
When you're done recording, simply hit the stop button.
If you have "Review before sending" turned on, you will be able to watch, cancel, re-record, schedule (pro), or send your volley.
If you have "Review before sending" turned off, the volley will be automatically added to the timeline once you stop your recording.
If you want to start your volley over, simply hit the cancel button and re-record what you want to say.
On your mobile device, there is also the ability to switch the camera around back and forth between the front and rear cameras while recording.
Note: There is no countdown timer before you record so you can keep the conversation moving, just like you would in a real-life conversation.
To send an audio volley, tap the microphone icon at the bottom of the timeline, and it will launch the recording view (desktop users can also use the shortcut "A").
When you're done recording, simply hit the stop button.
If you have "Review before sending" turned on, you will be able to preview, cancel, re-record, schedule (pro), or send your volley.
If you want to start your volley over, simply hit the cancel button and re-record what you want to say.
To send a text volley, click or tap on the text field to the right of the camera icon
A text box will then appear where you can compose your message
Tap/click on the arrow icon to send your message
Pro Tip: You can also customize your background color, share clickable links and in-line video previews (from YouTube), and schedule your volley (Pro)
On your mobile device, there are multiple ways upload an image or video that you have on your camera roll.

Select the image or video file you would like to send. Or, just drag and drop into the Volley window and it will automatically send! This also works for other file types.
Note: There is a 50MB file size upload limit (Basic plan) or 250MB (Volley Pro plan) for any file sent as a volley.

Note: This is only available on the desktop app. To send a screen recording of your phone, use your phone's native screen recorder or a third-party app to record your screen. Save the video to your phone, then upload the video to volley following the steps listed above for Video Uploads.
